The far East will receive 480 million rubles in 2019 for the increase of mobility of labor resources, said the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova at a meeting of the Russian tripartite Commission on regulation socially-labour relations.

Golikova has informed that it is planned to amend the rules of granting and distribution of subsidies from the Federal budget to the regions for implementation of additional measures in the field of employment. Such subsidies are allocated to regions included in the government approved list for priority attraction of labour resources. Such regions now 16, in particular, included in the far Eastern Federal district (FEFD). In the current edition of the rules provides that the granting of such subsidies to the regions ends in 2018. The government proposes to make the provision of such subsidies to the regions indefinite.

According to Golikova, currently employers DFO could count on financial support, whose volume was calculated from the norm of 225 thousand rubles for one engaged employee. Now the government proposes to increase this standard up to 1 million rubles.

«The total volume is increased to 500 million rubles — subsidies to be provided for these purposes from the Federal budget, and it is important that the government delegates these powers to heads of regions in order to take a differentiated decision on the possibility of granting such subsidies in the amount of 225 thousand to 1 million roubles depending on which workspace is involved to the appropriate employee,» — said Golikova.

«Of this amount, 500 million rubles to attract workers to regions of the Far East is allocated 480 million rubles, that is the main part. And for the period 2020-2021 years, we are now in the approval procedure,» — said Golikova.

Vice Prime Minister reminded about the task set by the President is to provide a higher rate of economic growth of the Far East.

«Currently the government on behalf of the head of state is developing a national long-term development strategy of the region. It is planned that the programme should be prepared until September 1, 2019. In the context of this work, it is essential the effectiveness of mechanisms to engage citizens to work. In this logic, a project was developed considering today the draft resolution,» she said.
