Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff and veterans of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Professor Zhukovsky (TSAGI) with 100-year anniversary of the institution, noting that thanks to them, TSAGI became one of the flagships of the domestic aviation industry complex, the corresponding telegram posted on the Kremlin website.

Putin noted that the centenary is a good occasion to remember the veterans of the Institute and to pay tribute to the current staff of the Institute, which today preserve and enrich their traditions. In particular, they participate in creation of military and civil aircraft, carried out a unique study, work on technique, which will determine the future of the Russian aviation and space exploration.

Putin thanked the Institute staff for their hard work and dedication and for the fact that TSAGI continues to hold high professional standards.
