The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case into the death of 14-year-old cadet parachute section during training on Sakhalin, said senior inspector far East investigatory management on transport SK of Russia Nonna Vlasov.

«Investigating bodies of far East investigatory management on transport of Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation on the fact of death of a juvenile during training jumps with a parachute brought criminal case on signs of the crime… «causing death by negligence due to improper performance of their professional duties», — is spoken in the message.

According to the materials of the case, December 1 in the parachute section of the regional state Autonomous institution «Center of technical sports» at the airport «Fluffy» was conducted a training parachute jumps.

During a parachute jump crashed 14-year-old athlete-paratrooper, according to preliminary data, the teenager did not deploy the main parachute.

The complex of events associated with the withdrawal of the necessary documentation and interrogation of the persons responsible for organizing and conducting training jumps.
