Demonstration in the Slovak Spa town of piešťany the filmmaker Karen Shakhnazarov’s «Anna Karenina. The story of Vronsky’s» Sunday opened the festival of contemporary Russian films, which will be held in 20 cities of the Republic until January 27, 2019, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the Russian Embassy in Bratislava Catherine Rogalski.

«In the best cinemas, cultural centers and some secondary schools in the Slovak 20 cities in a month and a half will be shown the Russian film «Anna Karenina. History Vronsky», «White tiger», «Rent house with all inconveniences» and «the Decision on liquidation», — said Rogalski.

Films will be shown in major cities such as Banska Bystrica or Bardejov and in small district centres – Kamienka, Tysovets, Stropkov and others. «According to preliminary applications to the auditions, the work of contemporary Russian filmmakers makes Slovak the audience great interest,» — said Rogalski.
