Vladimir Putin’s statement on the facilitation of the regime of stay of Ukrainians in Russia, as well as simplifying procedures for obtaining citizenship speaks to the good intentions of Russia, said RIA Novosti, state Secretary, Deputy foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.

«It has been repeatedly stated by the President. It just shows the good intentions of Russia towards the citizens of the neighboring, friendly Ukraine, in contrast to the things that make the current Kiev authorities,» — said the diplomat.

According to him, the idea is to facilitate the whole procedure, so that people easier can get a temporary residence permit, «then move on to citizenship.»

Earlier, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on Twitter that Ukraine imposed restrictions on the entry of Russians male, aged from 16 to 60 years.

Putin noted that Russia will not impose retaliatory restrictions against the citizens of Ukraine, but rather facilitate the conditions of their stay in Russia and obtain citizenship.

The Russians in the last days receive from the Ukrainian border service mass denials of entry to Ukraine at the airports of this country. Those who arrived from Minsk aircraft of «Belavia» airline or the other airlines, have been returned to Belarus. Since the beginning of the week in Minsk returned 144.
