Most of the countries participating in the G20 summit in Argentina, made an appeal to cancel its earlier barriers to trade, said the first Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, who participated in the summit.

«The overall impression what. According to forecasts of the International monetary Fund, the Organization for economic cooperation and development, the growth rate of the world economy has slowed from 3.9% to 3.7%. Largely it was noted that this is due to the fact that today there are trade restrictions, protectionism, and it was noted by most countries. And the logic was this: all these restrictions lead to reduced investment activity», — said Siluanov at a meeting of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with Deputy Prime Ministers.

«Despite the relatively high growth rate of the world economy, the stability of these rates were discussed at the summit, and literally all countries urged to reduce, to abolish those restrictions, those protectionist decisions that, unfortunately, in recent years it has been taken,» he added.

«Maybe they called those who administered them?» — said Medvedev.

«General, such a motive on the meeting was about the need, conversely, to reduce barriers to trade, reduce barriers to movement of capital, and this will give the opportunity to keep up the pace today, not bad really», — concluded Siluanov.

Medvedev also noted that the limitations and barriers imposed in world trade affect the economies of Russia and the EAEC. «This obviously affects our economy and the economies of the Eurasian Union. We recently met to discuss how we can jointly pursue further integration steps in this direction. View, in particular, how will the Declaration that produces «twenty» as the largest forum of economies in the world,» — said Medvedev.
