At least six police and one journalist were wounded in Kabul, where law enforcement officers trying to storm the house in which lives the son of the former defense Minister of Afghanistan Abdul Rahim Wardak, reports TOLOnews TV channel with reference to the representative of the interior Ministry.

The confrontation takes place in the district of Shahr-e-Naw. It is reported that the son ex-the Minister refused to leave the house by order of the authorities, and his bodyguards got into a shootout with law enforcement officers.

Channel 1TVNews reports that the office of Wardak denied any involvement of his family in the incident. According to representatives of the ex-Minister, we are talking about the home of Tamim Shansab.

Abdul Rahim Wardak was appointed Minister of Afghanistan from 2004 to 2012.
