In Russia there are more than 80 public monitoring commissions

In Russia there are more than 80 public monitoring commissions, and the year rotation of members of the PMC took place in 13 regions, according to a draft of the annual report of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation on the state of civil society.

«Today, there are 83 public monitoring Committee. After a year of work of Public chamber of the Russian Federation on the current composition of the rotation of members of the PMC took place in 13 regions,» the report notes.

From December 2017 to February 2018 rotation of the compositions of the PMC passed in 6 subjects of the Russian Federation (Altai Republic, Zabaykalsky Krai, Kamchatka Krai, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug).

From January to April 2018 rotation of the compositions of the PMC took place in 2 regions of Russia (Republic of North Ossetia – Alania, Vologda oblast). From March to may 2018, the rotation took place in 5 constituent entities of the Russian Federation (Krasnoyarsk Krai, Jewish Autonomous oblast, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug).

The report will be finalized taking into account the proposals of the participants of the plenary session OP the Russian Federation, which takes place in Moscow on 3-4 December. The final version of the report will be submitted before the end of the year and sent to the President of the Russian Federation, both chambers of the Federal Assembly, ministries and departments.
