The court sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime colony the inhabitant of the Chelyabinsk region Vasily Borisenko for the murder of his wife and brother-in-law (husband of her sister), with whom she allegedly cheated on him, reported on Monday a press-service of regional court.

According to the court, 3 January 2018 in the apartment in the village Klenovka Yemanzhelinsk area Borisenko with his family and sister wives with her husband celebrating the New year. The night he was awakened by his wife’s sister and reported about the betrayal of his wife with her husband. Drunk he beat his wife, then took the car to the house of a relative, where he was beaten and placed in the trunk of a car. Back at the apartment, Borisenko also put your wife in the trunk, drove to the woods and there set fire to the vehicle. Located in the trunk died, 5 Jan Borysenko reported the crime to the police.

«Today the Chelyabinsk regional court announced the verdict to Vasily Borisenko. He was found guilty of murder of two persons… the Court has appointed the defendant punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of 16 years in strict regime colony. As additional punishment the convict is assigned to a restraint of liberty for a term of 1 year 6 months (performed after release from prison)», — stated in the message.

The sentence has not entered force and can be appealed to the Supreme court of the Russian Federation, specified in the message.
