«I can only confirm that, indeed, is still after the incident, a telephone conversation between Putin and Poroshenko was not in the present moment, as far as I know, in the days to come, this conversation is not planned», — said Peskov.

Earlier, Poroshenko reported about an unsuccessful attempt to contact the President of Russia Vladimir Putin after the incident in the Black sea, where Ukrainian Navy ships violated the border of Russia and was arrested. The Ukrainian leader said he was ready to contact in any format — bilateral channel, with the participation of American partners.

The «Normandy format deals with the actual implementation of the Minsk agreements, the situation, or rather the provocation of the Ukrainian side in the Russian territorial waters, is unlikely, to say, to the measurement of the Minsk agreements,» Peskov said in answer to the question of how necessary the meeting in Norman format on the topic.
