Journalists in St. Petersburg did not allow the hearing of Dmitry Lukyanenko, who is accused of the attack in the store «Crossroads» in December last year, the correspondent of RIA Novosti from the Leningrad military district court.

The Moscow district military court on Wednesday at the meeting in St. Petersburg has started consideration of the case Lukyanenko. Earlier it was reported that the defendant passed compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital. He is accused of committing a terrorist act, illegal trafficking and manufacture of explosives and explosive devices.

As explained to journalists the representative of the court before the meeting, the question of the admission of the press will be decided based on the positions of the parties.

«The order of the Moscow judges. Who wants to do a few shots in the boardroom — three minutes and remove. All of the press will not» — told reporters the bailiff.

The investigation established that Lukyanenko has organized and performed improvised explosive device on 27 December 2017 in the store «Crossroads» on Kondratyevsky Avenue in St. Petersburg. Initially, on the fact of explosion criminal case on attempted murder of several persons, but on 31 December it was changed to an article about the attack. By mid-January, all 18 of the injured were discharged from hospitals.
