Iran does not want to join the Ministerial monitoring Committee of OPEC+, which is responsible for the monitoring of the Vienna transactions and development of recommendations for its adjustment, he told reporters the country’s oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh.

«No,» said he, answering the relevant question.

«The Committee acted outside of its mandate throughout the year,» said Zanganeh, noting that sees no need for the existence of the Committee.

«They must act within its mandate», he added.

Earlier, the Minister has repeatedly criticized the Committee, claiming his actions over the mandate. Members of the Committee are Saudi Arabia, Russia, Oman, Algeria, Kuwait and Venezuela.
